Another interesting day

So, went through quite a night during my shift at Disneyland during that After Dark event known as Sweethearts Nite. It was a sold out event and had a good gang of co-workers that not only worked hard, but also were fun to chat with whenever we had long periods of little-to-no customers at the restaurant I worked at in the park. Granted, my area of the kitchen wasn't extremely busy, but the area with the deep fryers was completely active in terms of how much food was being pumped out. The special event food was the most popular in the restaurant, along with a special funnel cake that replaced this very annoying funnel that, for some unexplained reason, we were holding onto from the holiday season. Work went well during that night, even though I was pretty sleepy by the end, but not to the point of being unable to drive back home, though as I just got back, ended up finding out that I broke a nail on my left index finger. It's not too deep into the nail, but a good portion of it had to be taken off, which led to a good amount of bleeding and tenderness once morning came around, but I will say that it did catch me off guard, because I never expected that to happen at all. I'm thankful that it wasn't too bad of a night, and I'm also thankful that the new work week got posted, showing that I got at least 3 days off, so everything is coming up.
